Cochin - Kumarakom - Periyar - Houseboat - Kovalam – Trivandrum

Day 1:  Arrive Cochin
Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight is at the hotel.

Day 2:  In Cochin
Morning proceed for a sightseeing tour of city visiting the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue – (closed on Fridays) and Chinese Fishing Nets. Evening proceed to the cultural centre to witness the traditional dance form of Kerala - Kathakali. Overnight is at the hotel.

Day 3:  Cochin – Kumarakom by surface
(90 kms / 2 Hrs)
Today you will drive for Kumarakom. On arrival, check in at hotel. Afternoon is at leisure to explore the surrounding of the resort.  Overnight is at the hotel.

Day 4:  Kumarakom-Periyar by surface
(127 kms. / 3 Hrs)
Today you will drive for Periyar. On arrival, check in at hotel. Afternoon is at leisure. Overnight is at the hotel.

Day 5:  In Periyar
Early morning and late afternoon boat ride on lake Periyar to view wildlife. Overnight is at the hotel.

Day 6:  Periyar – Alleppey by surface
(155 kms. / 4 Hrs)
Today you will drive for Alleppey from where you will board Kettuvallam (houseboat) for cruising on backwaters. Overnight on board the house boat.

Day 7:  Arrive Quillon- Kovalam by surface
(83 kms / 2-3 Hrs)
Arrive Quillon by Kettuvallam and later drive to Kovalam. On arrival, check in at hotel. Afternoon proceed for a sightseeing tour of Trivandrum visiting Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Napier Museum, Chitralayam Arts Gallery, Observatory and Kanakakunnu Palace.  Overnight is at the hotel.

Day 8:  In Kovalam
Today you will proceed for a full day excursion to Cape Comorin enroute visiting Padmanabhapuram near Nagarcoil, which is an old fort and a pagoda- shaped palace with fine 17th and 18th century murals. Overnight is at the hotel.

Day 9:  In Kovalam
Full day is at leisure. Overnight is at the hotel.

Day 10:  Kovalam – Trivandrum by surface and departure
In time transfer to the Trivandrum airport to board flight for onward destination.
